Monday, May 2 -Doctrine, Dogma & Differences

National Director, Alan Robinson

New Life Hershey

Join us for a morning of dialogue with Alan Robinson. What is the “doctrinal integrity” in the Brethren in Christ US? Is there a BIC identity that must be identified, understood and preserved? Come ready to discuss these questions and more on May 2.  We will gather at New Life Hershey at 8:30 am for coffee, dialogue and we will finish our time together with lunch at 12 noon.

Attached is a document to help you prepare your thoughts for our time together.  You may have a copy of Reflections on a Heritage by John E. Zercher in your personal library from your core courses.  If not, you may find the following helpful:

Who are the Brethren in Christ?

The Atlantic Conference is one piece of a larger picture – namely, the Brethren in Christ (BIC) Church in the U.S. (Visit the Brethren in Christ Church in the U.S.) The Brethren in Christ came into existence in the 1750’s in Lancaster County, near the town of Marietta. (Read more BIC History) Since that time, the Brethren in Christ Church has spread across the United States and Canada. Today, Brethren in Christ churches can be found in more than 23 countries around the world!

Churches of the Atlantic Conference

The Atlantic Conference of the Brethren in Christ Church is a network of nearly 50 churches in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. Our desire is to be an expanding network of Alive, Dynamic and Fruitful congregations that partner together to extend the kingdom of God.
