Who are the Brethren in Christ?
The Atlantic Conference is one piece of a larger picture – namely, the Brethren in Christ (BIC) Church of North America. (Visit the Brethren in Christ of North America website.) The Brethren in Christ came into existence in the 1750’s in Lancaster County, near the town of Marietta. (Read more BIC History.) Since that time, the Brethren in Christ Church has spread across the United States and Canada. Today, Brethren in Christ churches can be found in more than 23 countries around the world!
